Wow, the trailer for The Dark Knight Rises looks great and this is one of my top three movies to see this year. Overall, I have been very impressed with Christopher Nolan's work with the Batman franchise and am expecting him to overcome the dreaded third movie curse that haunts many superhero movies.
Third movie curse? That's right, folks, take a look at the third movie of many successful comic book franchises and you'll see some real stinkers. Here are some examples: Batman Forever, Superman III, X-Men: The Last Stand and, Spider-Man 3. The trailer alone for The Dark Knight Rises gives me hope.
