COMICS FROM THE EDGE #11

Comic by Bob Toben

Ramblings by TonyDoug Wright

This comic made me think of my favorite car songs from the wonderful world of rock and roll. Below are my choices with some brief commentary.

1. Drive My Car by The Beatles: This is a classic and Rubber Soul is a damn good album.

2. Radar Love by Golden Earring: A classic 70s rock anthem courtesy of the Dutch. Crank this one to ELEVEN.

3.Back of a Car by Big Star: You need to know more about Alex Chilton and Big Star. Purchase No. 1 Record/ Radio City

4. Cars by Gary Numan: Haters gonna hate, but the 80s were awesome.

5. No Particular Place to Go by Chuck Berry: If you don't like Chuck Berry then you hate rock and roll.

6. I Can't Drive 55 by Sammy Hagar: Good song, but Hagar is driving like a total prick in this video, so it is good to get him off the road. Also, check out the 2:04 portion for the charge of RISISTING ARREST. What?
