Comic book artist and comic book guru, Anand 'Kav' Kaviraj, has discovered a truly awful comic book ad from the past. Take a look at the dreadful Superman costume that was advertised in a comic book.
Comic book ads were known for their blatant LYING. Like the 'Fabulous Sea Monkeys' that looked NOTHING like the little humanoids shown in the ad, or the 'Polairs Nuclear Sub' which fired REAL missiles, plus you could use to SPEND HOURS ROVING UNDER THE SEA.
